June means strawberries. Red, delicious, sweet strawberries. When I was in Nursing School, one of my fellow classmates brought Strawberries and Cream Dip for a snack. (Shout out, Laurie, if you're reading this.) It was one of those times when you really want to eat it all, but you can't because it would be rude.
| What do you think of this Thiebaut linen? Yet, another gift from Craving4More. The colors are so fresh! |
I constrained myself that day (I think). Since she shared how easy it is to make, I can now indulge to my heart's desire. It's simple, quick and easy. The perfect last minute dish to take to a BBQ.
| *TCM states strawberries are cooling making them perfect for summer. |
Cream cheese, marshmallow creme, ginger, and orange peel.
Toss it all into a bowl and mix it together until smooth.
Wash and dry your berries and dip away. The perfect summer dish. No hot kitchen. Light and tasty.
- 7 oz jar marshmallow creme
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 t grated ginger
- grated peel of half an orange, plus more for garnish
*Wash and dry your strawberries just before serving so that they stay fresh longer.
