Once again the utterly delicious and decadent marriage of peanut butter and chocolate has got my drooling in the kitchen. It’s hard to make it through the processing of a batch of these babies – the smell alone is enough to send me swooning.
Luckily, the luscious slices were baked with a specific purpose (other than consuming with gusto).
Baking for best friends simply cannot be overrated.

Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining egg, peanut butter, and powdered sugar.
Spread the peanut butter layer over the brownie batter.
Then, top with the remaining chocolate chunks.

Bake for about 40-45 minutes, until the chocolate is mostly melted and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool thoroughly before slicing and serving.
